About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Roché is the daughter of a third-generation Louisiana rice farmer; she grew up on the land outside of Lake Arthur. Her family taught her to respect and protect property, because their livelihood depends on it. She is dedicated to helping Louisianians and their environment.

Elizabeth traveled around the country and state for her education and work experience. She graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and Tulane University Law School.  After working for the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeals and practicing with firms in New Orleans, she recently returned to her roots and opened her law firm about ten miles from her family’s farm.  She is licensed to practice law in both Louisiana and Mississippi.

Through her firm, Elizabeth advocates for people damaged by environmental hazards and helps landowners across Louisiana clean up their polluted property and recover money damages.  She fights for injured parties to get the compensation they need.  She also helps community members with all kinds of civil legal matters at flexible payrates.

Detail-oriented and passionate about her clients and community, Elizabeth provides serious, top-of-the-line advocacy.   She has been selected by her peers as a Rising Star in environmental law since 2015.

Elizabeth is drawn to the land even in her free time where she cultivates a backyard vegetable garden. She is married to Gary Holcomb, a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, and they are proud parents.
